Mathsplus was founded in 2022 by school teacher, Scott Dyer, to focus on the key elements of learning. Having worked in many schools, academies and trusts as a teacher and head of department, Scott realised that the education system can leave many students disadvantaged and not reaching their full potential. By creating Mathsplus we hope that student can learn more through excellent teaching, achieve more through individual programmes, and succeed by reviewing learning at each stage.

With schools being under more and more pressure to provide a range of skill and support, we want to focus on learning Maths to give students that additional support to complement their work in lessons to allow them to achieve in schools too.

Putting students’ needs first is our core value at Mathsplus. We understand that every student will have their own individual needs, misconceptions, and gaps in their knowledge. At Mathsplus, we identify these needs, create an individual learning plan and we continuously adapt this plan to allow our students to achieve their full potential.
